The Typekit Blog | WOFF2 support added to Typekit

Adobe adds WOFF2 support to Typekit. WOFF2 has been around for a while, and can offer savings of up to 30% in file size. One issue I’ve run into when using WOFF2 is lack of support in server configuration. If you plan on hosting your WOFF2 files for @font-face support, be sure to add the MIME type to your server configuration. Googling around can help with this, but if your on Apache or Nginx you can use: https://github.com/fontello/fontello/wiki/How-to-setup-server-to-serve-fonts
